I read a book this summer on leadership and decision making. The author noted that sometimes - when there are moral imperitives - "leadership by outrage" was appropriate. Vice President Biden successfully demonstrated that principle this week. Obama needs to be similarly expressive when his opponent's stories morph, as they have been, from the right fringe towards the middle. While I like a pragmatic leader, I'm not so sure about a pragmatic politician who pretends to be a far right extremist during the primaries and then becomes a middle-of-the road moderate during the election.
When will the real Mitt Romney please stand up? The American people deserve to know who they are voting for.
